G2 Esports is looking for a Head of Merchandising and Licensing (m/f/d) to join G2’s team.

Missions.
1. Define G2 Esports’s merchandising and licensing strategy in line with brand positioning
Position G2 Esports as a leading premium apparel brand both across an esports/gaming and lifestyle audience
Execute market research to understand customer needs and business trends to establish accurate product strategies and plans of action
Attend major Licensing & Merchandising events to represent G2 Esports
2. Ensure perfect execution
Lead the development and execution of product strategies, goals, and objectives for G2 Esports’ Consumer Products department and implement needed internal processes
Lead the development and execution of strategic product partnerships and collaborations on a global scale
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, social, esports, and finance, to ensure success and quality of consumer products campaigns and ensuring a strong ROI
Develop, maintain and expand relationships to suppliers, partners and stakeholders on a global scale
3. Manage the Consumer Products department
Manage the budget and resources necessary to support the division’s operations and provide thorough quarterly category forecasts and yearly budgets
Lead the regional expansion of the team and product portfolio
Own and manage the department’s budget, resources and ensure financial reporting to the Chief Operating Officer
Manage a team of 5 (Junior Merchandisers & Designers)
Expected profile.
Profile
👉 5+ years experience in successfully leading a Consumer products or similar team,
preferably within the gaming/entertainment industry
👉 Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies and activation
campaigns
👉 Deep understanding of the retail business
👉 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
Skills
👉 Pricing, forecasting and budgeting skills
👉 Ability to Manage a team and work cross-functional
👉 Great communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with
partners and stakeholders
👉 Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing
👉 Knowledge of SEO and analytics
